FAQ

The questions licensees actually ask.

01Do you cover free houses, tenanted pubs and managed houses?+

Yes. We write policies for every operating model in the trade, from a single free house to a small managed estate. The cover is shaped to the lease or tenancy you actually hold.

02Is live music, sport on TV or function hire covered?+

Almost always, yes — included as standard on most schemes. A handful of higher-risk activities (late-night events, ticketed gigs over a certain capacity) may need a short referral, but they rarely cost extra.

03What happens if my licence is challenged or revoked?+

Our loss of licence policy pays up to £100,000 for the reduction in market value of the premises plus legal and appeal costs, provided the loss isn't down to a wilful act of the licensee.

04How quickly can I get a quote?+

Most quotes are returned within one working day of receiving your details. Renewal terms for existing clients usually go out four weeks before the renewal date.

05What about a flood, fire or cellar cooling breakdown?+

Buildings, contents and stock are covered for fire, flood, theft and accidental damage. Cellar cooling breakdown and the deterioration of frozen and chilled stock are included on most schemes.

06Can I pay monthly?+

Yes. We offer monthly instalments at competitive rates through a regulated premium finance partner. There's a short credit agreement to sign at inception.
